SAN ANTONIO—George Roland Hill, 62, of Converse, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Hill was born March 25, 1946, in New Boston, Texas. He was retired from the Army, Personnel Director of Homeland Security and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his wife, Chuk.
