DEKALB, Texas—Kenneth J. Allen, 73, of DeKalb died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Allen was born Dec. 24, 1934, in Quinlan, Texas. He was a licensed social worker, member of American Legion and a Marine veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Allen.

Survivors include two sons, Brandon Allen of DeKalb and Cory Allen of Pennsylvania; one daughter, Angela Allen of Pennsylvania; one brother, Joe Allen of Balch Springs, Texas; one sister, Linda David of Red Oak, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
