Henrietta G. Carter Adams, 80, of Longview, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, in a Longview hospital.

Mrs. Adams was born April 14, 1928, in Miller County, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Mobberly Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.E. Adams; and one daughter, Donna Blythe.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Adams of Longview and Charles Adams of Katy, Texas; one daughter, Cheryl Sanchez of Longview; four brothers, Harold Carter and Tom Carter of Texarkana, Charles Carter of Pasadena, Texas, and Byron Carter of Summerville, S.C.; two...
