STAMPS, Ark.—James Owen, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Owen was born June 4, 1924, in Patmos, Ark. He was a retired truck driver, a member of The Moose Lodge and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Owen.
