Delbert Boyd “Jim” Gaither, 83, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Gaither was born May 20, 1925, in El Dorado, Ark. He was owner of Gaither’s Appliance, a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Gaither.
