John Edd Beasley, 51, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, in a Shreveport, La., hospital.

Mr. Beasley was born Sept. 18, 1957, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a construction worker, a member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church and an Army veteran.

Survivors include three sons, John Beasley and Steven Beasley of Austin and Antonio Moore of Texarkana; two daughters, Brandy Beasley of Austin and Maria Walker of Texarkana; his mother and stepfather, Rosie Beasley Gulley and L.O.
