ATLANTA, Texas—James Barber Daniels, 51, of DeKalb, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, in Simms, Texas.

Mr. Daniels was born May 17, 1957, in DeKalb.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Joyce Daniels of DeKalb; five brothers, Donald Daniels of Texarkana, Joe Lee Barber of Atlanta and Billy Barber, Calvin Daniels and Derrick Daniels of DeKalb; two sisters, Lynda Threadgill and Barber Daniels of DeKalb; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. today at Mount Pisgah CME Church with the Rev. Glenda Threadgill officiating. Burial will be in Garla...
