HOPE, Ark.—Essie O. Oglesby, 88, of Haworth, Okla., died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, in Haworth.

Ms. Oglesby was born June 5, 1920, in Haworth. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Bill Oglesby of Haworth; two sisters, Mattie Hillman of Hope and Ola Faye Davis of La Porte, Texas; two grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Union Grove Cemetery, DeAnn, Ark. Burial will be under direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
