Mary Elizabeth Stone, 91, of Maud, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, in a local nursing center.

Mrs. Stone was born July 19, 1917 in Granville, Okla. She was retired from Lone Star Ammunition Plant and a member of the First Baptist Church, Maud. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Stone; and one daughter Lois Stone.

Survivors include five daughters, Dorothy Smith of Maud, Melba Simmons of Weatherford, Texas, Rosemary Henry of Texarkana, Peggy Patterson of Springdale, Ark., and Sheila Jackson of Collierville, Tenn.; two sons, E. J. Stone of Ashdown, Ark., an...
