CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Tyler Nicole Henderson, 15, of Detroit, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, in a local hospital.

Tyler was born Dec. 29, 1992, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She was a sophomore at Detroit Independent School District, a softball player and a member of Detroit High Basketball Team, Beta Club, Spanish Club, Detroit Youth Rodeo Club, Upward Bound, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Detroit Future Farmers of America.
