ATLANTA, Texas—James M. Taulbee, 78, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, in Mount Pleasant.

Mr. Taulbee was born May 31, 1930, in Blackburn, Okla. He was a retired supervisor in the petroleum industry and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Davis Taulbee of Mount Pleasant; one son, James R.
