Mary E. Fitzgerald, 67, of Fouke, Ark., died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Fitzger-ald was born Aug. 4, 1941, in Lafayette, La. She was a retired bus driver and teacher’s aide at Fouke School District and a member of Arkansas Parent Teacher Association and Jonesville Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Fitzgerald; and one great-grandchild, Lane Alan Massey.
