Ben Jackson Cox, 83, of Riverside, Calif., died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Cox was born Feb. 25, 1925, near Fouke, Ark. He was employed by the Gulf Oil distributor in Texarkana, owner and operator of a small business in California, member of the Masonic Lodge, Riverside Braille Club, San Bernardino Lighthouse for the Blind, Rancho Mirage Braille Institute, Friends of the Mission Inn, Friends of Mount Rubidoux, Riverside Historical Society and Riverside First Baptist Church
