PITTSBURG, Texas—Nezzie Ree Neal, 99, of Pittsburg died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Neal was born July 4, 1909, in Pittsburg. She was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and preceded in death by one daughter, Verna Faye Neal.

Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Doddy of Daingerfield, Texas; one son, Larry Neal of Pittsburg; two brothers-in-law, Orrice Neal of Los Angeles and Horace Neal of Columbus, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Lucille Hollins of Texarkana; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. ...
