ASHDOWN, Ark.—William “Penny” Brunson, 68, of Ashdown died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, in Texarkana.

Mr. Brunson was born July 1, 1940, in Dallas. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marti Brunson of Ashdown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly Shea and Darrin Martin of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Brady Coulter and Brian Baker of Ashdown; one sister, Shirley Payton of Dallas; and two special grandchildren, Will Rothmeyer and Reagan Shea Martin.
