PRESCOTT, Ark.—Willie Nathan Mitchell, 78, of Curtis, Ark., died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, in Little Rock.

Mr. Mitchell was born Sept. 12, 1930, in Prescott, Ark. He was a retired airplane mechanic supervisor.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Jane Mitchell of Curtis; one brother, William Earl Newton of St. Clair, Mo.; two sisters, Bobbie Jean McFarland of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Earnestine Drennen of Cedar Hill, Mo.; and a number of other relatives.
