HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Carol Agnes Hale, 81, of Hughes Springs died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, in a Longview, Texas hospital.

Mrs. Hale was born Nov. 4, 1927, in La Crosse, Wis. She was a retired letter carrier with the United States Postal Service and a member of Win One Sunday School Class.
