LINDALE, Texas—Murner L. Thompson, 93, of Lindale died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Thompson was born Feb. 11, 1915, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Thompson.

Survivors include two sons, Bryant Megason of Frankston, Texas, and Boyce Megason of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Charlsie Easley of Lindale; and a number of other relatives.
