NEW BOSTON, Texas—Vernon LeRoy Adcock, 69, of Maud, Texas, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Adcock was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Naples, Texas. He was a self-employed carpet and tile installer and a member of Simms Baptist Church, Simms, Texas.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Cates of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Barbara Adcock of Fresno, Calif., and Sharon Adcock of Orangevale, Calif.; three sons, Donald Adcock of Roseville, Calif., Michael Adcock of Terrebonne, Ore., and Steven Adcock of Penryn, Calif.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, D.L. and Nona Adco...
