IDABEL, Okla.—Dorene Cupit, 89, of the Holly Creek community near Broken Bow, Okla., died Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Idabel.

Mrs. Cupit was born Sept. 29, 1919, in Stroud, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 1986; one son, Rex Cupit; and two grandsons, Danny Butler and Jimmy Lingo.

Survivors include four sons, Bill Cupit of Paris, Texas, Bob Cupit of Englewood, Colo., Jack Cupit of McAlester, Okla., and Randy Cupit of Broken Bow; four daughters, Betty Cruz of Littleton, Colo., Sue Williams of Scottsbluff, Neb., Dena Webb of Idabel and Lycrecia Hicks ...
