DE QUEEN, Ark.—Lloyd Howard Smith Sr., 84, of Foreman, Ark., died Monday, June 29, 2009, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Smith was born March 30, 1925, in Yuma, Ariz. He was former co-owner of a trucking business and a member of Operating Engineers Local 3, Fresno, Calif., and First Southern Baptist Church of Crossroads.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Faye Keller Smith; three sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd H. Jr. and Anne Smith of El Dorado, Ark., Derrell W. and Linda Smith of Clovis, Calif., and Marty K. and Sonja Smith of Foreman; one brother and sister-in-law, J.D...
