Boyd “Papa” Wood, 43, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, June 19, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Wood was born May 30, 1966, in Texarkana. He was a truck driver and member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Wood.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Anne Tumey and Jessica Anne Harley of Fouke, Ark.; his mother, Irene Sylvia Bearden of Texarkana; two grandsons, Christopher-Boyd Tumey and Conner-Ray Harley of Fouke; two granddaughters, Katherine Tumey and Rebecca Harley of Fouke; and a number of other relatives.
