Johnny Ray Rose, 49, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Dallas.

Mr. Rose was born Oct. 14, 1959, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a member of Mount Orange Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Rose of Texarkana; one brother, Charles Rose of Texarkana; one sister, Dorothy Rose of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Ivy Rose of Texarkana; four nephews, Eric Rose, Devenere Rose and Deserail Rose of Texarkana and Lavell Rose of Chicago; and two nieces, Gena Rose of Jacksonville, Fla., and Portia Jackson of Texarkana.
