IDABEL, Okla.—Anna M. Smithson, 87, of Haworth, Okla., died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in Texarkana, Texas.

Mrs. Smithson was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Maysville, Okla. She was a nurse’s aide and a member of Haworth Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Smithson in 2000; and one son, Johnny Glenn Smithson.
