Kenneth Roy Emerson, 69, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Emerson was born Nov. 27, 1939, in Waurika, Okla. He was retired from Fallin Tractor and a member of Highland Hills Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one wife, Clara Scott Emerson.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Nelson Emerson of Texarkana; two children, James P. Emerson of Rogers, Ark., and Diana Wright of Texarkana; four stepchildren, Paula Williams of Little Rock, Donna Brower of Murphy, Texas, Quincy Nelson of Winter Haven, Fla., and Carl Nelson of Texarkana; one ...
