Elaine Young Morris, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at her home.

Mrs. Morris was born March 25, 1925, in Nowata, Okla. She was retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and First Baptist Church, Moores Lane. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Morris, in 2005.
