John William Mack Sr., 63, of Redwater, Texas, died Monday, July 13, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Mack was born Sept. 7, 1945, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a retired environmental tech with the Milwaukee, Wis., School Service and a member of Hopewell CME Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Bettie Shields Mack of Redwater; one son, John William Mack Jr. of Milwaukee; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Vora Dell Mack and John Ware, Linda F. Mack and Shelia G. Smith of Texarkana; and one grandson, Joseph Mack of Milwaukee.
