Arkansas State University is seeing the number of students skipping out of classroom time getting bigger.

And that’s a good thing.

The Jonesboro university reported recently that during the 2006-2009 school year, 1,780 students signed up for online classes. This year they added 903 more, bringing the total number of students taking some form on instruction on the Internet to 2,683.
