On Saturday, Texarkana residents have a chance to join with people across America in an effort to help those in need.

The National Association of Letter Carriers launched their 16th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive this week.

Tomorrow, letter carriers will collect food as they deliver the mail along their regular routes. The food will be taken to local organizations that distribute food to the needy.

In Texarkana, food collected will go to The Salvation Army, The Randy Sams Outreach Shelter and the Friendship Center.
