There is one less place for smokers to light up this week.

The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville became a tobacco-free campus as of Tuesday.

Smoking cigarettes, cigars or pipes and the use of smokeless or chewing tobacco now are forbidden anywhere at the school, inside or out.

There is no penalty for violating the ban—the school hopes the campus community will police itself.
