Those who would nail shut our borders to remedy illegal immigration and ship back anyone who is here illegally would do well to consider that the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants may not be the most formidable threat to our way of life.

Push comes to shove, we could send back everyone here illegally; it would have serious socioeconomic consequences, but in theory, it could be done.

What we cannot do is buy back the America we have sold. We don’t have the money. And we are selling more every day.
