It was two years ago Sunday that the Texas Transportation Commission gave final approval for the project to redesign and rebuild frontage roads along Interstate 30 in Texarkana.

The $153.5 million project got under way shortly after.

Since then we have seen a flurry of construction along the frontage roads for the project that stretches from Jefferson Avenue on the Arkansas side all the way to Kings Highway in Nash, Texas.
