It’s that time of year again. The time when the hot days of summer give way to ice cold slices of delicious Hope watermelons.

And there is no better way to beat the August heat and enjoy those tasty treats than to take your family to the 32nd Annual Hope Watermelon Festival.

The festival got under way Thursday and continues through Sunday at Fair Park in Hope.
