Maverick oilman turned hedge-fund billionaire T. Boone Pickens has a new 15-second television spot that was apparently too hot for NBC.

The short video begins with Pickens saying “Get this one. Iran is changing its cars to run on natural gas and we’re not doing a thing here.”

Pickens goes on to say that Iran is switching over to the cheaper fuel for vehicles to save oil while continuing to export oil at high prices.

He ends by saying we in the U.S. can switch our cars to run on natural gas and “stop sending our dollars to foreign countries.”
