Hillary Davidson knows the dangers of text messaging when driving.

The 21-year-old senior at Arkansas State University lost her father, Paul Davidson, on July 14 in an auto accident. The driver of the other vehicle told police he was sending a text message at the time of the fatal accident.

Now his daughter is on a crusade to ask state lawmakers to sponsor a bill making text messaging while driving a crime.
