We all know there are three branches of government here in these great United States; the executive, the legislative and the judicial.

Well, most of us know that.

One exception seems to be Vice President Dick Cheney, who seems to believe his own office constitutes a fourth branch of government, accountable to no one.

Since 2003, Cheney has been telling one and all that the office of the vice president is not really a part of the executive branch, and therefore not bound by any rules that don’t suit the current occupant of that office.
