Back again.

Chiefs of the Big Three automakers, palms out and up, once again made the trek to Washington to implore lawmakers to grease those palms with bailout cash.

This time they made the journey not in ultra-luxurious private jets, but by car. Hybrid-fuel cars, no less.

It was just three weeks ago that the trio came a-calling, only to be rebuffed. Not so much because Congress didn’t want to hand over the cash, but because Democrats and Republicans couldn’t agree where it should come from.
