Today is Jan. 2. The day when the New Year’s resolutions are really supposed to kick in.

Most people don’t really get started on Jan. 1. And we understand why. Many are still recovering from the night before. Plus, a lot of people have the day off from work, there is football on the TV and what’s a football game without food and drink and an afternoon nap?

So today is the big day. That means those bad habits you want to banish must be banished and the good intentions you have must take on some form of reality.
