Supreme Court says Arizona school went too far

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Arizona school officials did not have the right to strip search a student suspected of concealing prescription drugs banned by school policy.

Savana Redding, now a college student, was 13 and in the eighth grade in Safford, Ariz., when another student said she had given her prescription-strength ibuprofen.

The school district does not allow prescription or over-the-counter drugs on campus
