Wedding gowns weren’t always white: Exhibit chronicles changes over 100 years of bridal style

From the bustle dresses of the Victorian era to a Neiman-Marcus original, the Texarkana Museum of Regional History has everything to know about the history of American wedding attire. An exhibit chronicling 100 years of wedding fashions opened June 16, just in time for June brides and wedding lovers to catch a peek. One of the oldest artifacts is a late 1880s “bustle dress” wedding gown.
