TAMU-T community growing, changing with the times


file photo Dedication ceremonies were held recently for the Science and Technology building at Texas A&M University-Texarkana’s Bringle Lake campus.
Texas A&M-Texarkana is growing in enrollment and curriculum and changing with the times.

Presently, the university is preparing to move to a 375-acre site near Bringle Lake.

The most visible growth is The Science & Technology building, a three-story structure with about 42,000 square feet of operating space. It will house the soon-to-be approved College of Engineering. The third floor has not been completed and the university is looking for a benefactor to help make it ready for students.
