Tips on dealing with baby wildlife

• Watch the animal to determine if it really is an orphan and needs help. More than 75 percent of baby animals rescued didn’t need help.

• It’s likely that fully feathered baby birds hopping around are practicing their flying and foraging skills. The parents are probably still present and caring for the baby bird.
