George McWilliams and Theron Goynes were honored as distinguished alumni by the Texarkana Independent School District on Aug. 22 at Texarkana Country Club. Both men graduated from Texas High School and went on to have successful careers, giving outstanding community service. The dinner was attended by hundreds of community members showing their support for the alumni and school district.
