Raw entertainment: Organizers expect WWE wrestling will be big draw

The rhythmic beat of a country and western ditty will be replaced by the tapping of referees as World Wrestling Entertainment kicks off the Four States Fair at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Though usually started with a rousing opening night concert, this year’s fair brings more physical entertainment as the WWE RAW wrestlers bring their brand of excitement to the venue.

Four States Fair Association Vice President Lisa Barr said the hope of drawing a more diverse crowd and weak attendance at previous concerts prompted the change in the opening night line-up.
