With the Four States Rodeo approaching, it is time to pull out those boots and starch up those jeans for some good, clean fun.

Well, as clean as an arena full of dirt can be.

Four States Fair Association Vice President Lisa Barr says the action will kick off Sept. 17.

“On Wednesday night, which is usually our kids’ night at the rodeo ... we’re doing a stick (horse) rodeo. (The kids) will be competing for a belt buckle that’s going to be donated by Cavender’s,” Barr said.
