Thursday evening offers local music lovers a great chance to catch regional musicians performing some of their best work live.

The “Songwriters on the Edge of Texas” CD release party benefit at Lee’s Catfish starts at 6:30 p.m. and brings performers like Jason Helms and John Marshall of New Jack & the Rippers, Dave Almond, Trey Johnson, Chris Loggins, John Talley, and Pete Jones of Greg Gardner & Voodoo Cowboy to the stage.
