Army and Texas National Guard Spc. Travis E. Nunn, the son of Lisa and Mike Griffin of Texarkana, Texas, and David and Dawn Nunn of Wolfe City, Texas, was recently promoted to the rank of corporal. He is scheduled for deployment later this year.



Air Force Airman 1st Class Daniel C. Allen, the son of Tina Allen and Mark Allen of Texarkana, Texas, recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is a 2004 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School.
