Tom and Diane Lester of Lowell, Ark., formerly of Texarkana, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Laura Lester, to Dr. Ricky Chastain, the son of Bennie and Liz Chastain of Malvern, Ark. Laura is the granddaughter of Allen and the late Martha Riley of Texarkana and the late Lemuel and Lucille Lester of Hooks, Texas. Ricky is the grandson of Hendricus and Hendrika Van Gerven of Bellflower, Calif., and the late Hoyt and Ruby Chastain of Malvern. The wedding will be Jan. 30 in Fayetteville, Ark.
