For Texarkana native Ace Crye, it's always nice to come home. The touring musician, who got his start at regional opry shows as a teenager, calls Arizona home now but returns for a Saturday night show at The Roadmap, start time at 8 p.m.

Crye will perform Elvis songs (he's performed the voice of Elvis on TV specials), the '50s and '60s music he enjoyed while growing up, Johnny Paycheck songs and his originals. "We're going to do originals from the songs I've had on the radio," Crye said. That includes tunes like "Neon Therapy." He's appeared in Las Vegas, sang for troops overseas and appeared on Carnival Cruise Lines.

Here in Texarkana, he'll be backed by local band Pot Liquor, who will also perform on their own.

"I'm just happy to be back in Texarkana and get to perform again," Crye said.

Tickets: $10 in advance at the Roadmap or $15 at the door.
