Rickey D. Rose Jr., son of Rickey Rose Sr. of Texarkana, Texas, and Sandra Larry Rose of Atlanta, Texas, was recently promoted from chief petty officer to Ensign in the U.S. Navy. Ensign Rose is a 2008 graduate of Atlanta High School.
